Objective
To discover which
beverage has the
darkest stain on
eggshells over time.

Hypothesis
If the grape juice is used
to soak the egg then the
egg will have the darkest
stain because it has acid
that would make the
eggshell more vulnerable
to stains.

Experiment
1.Place shell back into
cup for x amount of
hours then compare to
stain scale chart.
2.Repeat step 1 for each
trial.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 two
additional times for
each beverage.

Conclusion
1.The hypothesis was
supported because the
grape juice had the
higher stain ratings then
any of the other
beverages
2.Graph 1 shows that
grape juice had a stain
rated as a 10 while
other beverages had a
rating of 6 or below.

Errors
1.The shell was not
dried before placing
back into the beverage.
2.Whenever one egg
was being measured, it
increased the amount of
time that other shells
were spending in the
liquids.
