Goal: Ss will use vocabulary learned in previous classes to check-into a hotel and ask
questions about services as a way to prepare for the final speaking exam. Also Ss will
work on some pragmatic skills by identifying levels of formality based on type of hotel.
Objectives (SWBAT):
Students Will Be Able To
1. give information to check-into a hotel
2. ask Wh- questions pertaining to hotel amenities to gather information (previously
covered)
3. analyze different hot el situations and adapt their language depending on the situation

activity by relating it to previous
lessons and providing

for the difference. Then Ss will
locate the language differences

creating their own dialogue and
will be encouraged to research
their hotel and add additional
information to their dialogues

try and guess what type of hotel
