Just imagine if you lived during the middle ages and seeing yourself
as a disgrace and the only thing you thought it was admirable was
religion nothing more. As many years passed something that made us
equal to God and as important as the Lord has changed our view of
man for the better, and also we have gained more knowledge, and we
found out truth. Two things have changed our point of view for the
better were culture and the advances of science. The Renaissance has
made a huge impact of how we view man.
Culture has been a huge change as the Renaissance began it
has advanced literacy, arts, beliefs etcetera. Based on the Source:
Images: Madonna Enthroned Between Two Angels by Duccio di
Buoninsegna; Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. On the first picture you
can notice that a lot of its features were religious like the guardian
angel and the halo around the baby, the second picture is now based
on our regular life and nature. The renaissance has made us feel
important because not everything is based on religion and it has been
a point of view that has made us feel as important as God. A second
factor why culture has changed Mans view of Man is according to
Source: Text Theodore Rabb, The last day of the Renaissance & The
March to Modernity, Basic Books, 2006, the new artistic styles would
echo the broader movements and interests of the new age. Neither
the techniques nor the forms of artistic expression were to be the
same. This quote explains to us that the way we expressed ourselves
used to be different after the renaissance. Another reason why culture
has changed mans point of view is because as it states on the Source:
Excerpt from an English play called Everyman, written by an unknown
author 1485. Ye {man} think sin in the beginning full sweet, Which in
the end causeth thy soul to weep. This quote explains how man was
viewed like a sin and worthless we were before the renaissance began.
Which that slowly turned us into being viewed in a good way as
opposed to others as it clearly says in Source: Excerpt from Act II,
Scene II of Hamlet by William Shakespeare, 1601 What a piece of
work is a man! How noble in reason this quote shows you that as the
renaissance was going on we were viewed in a way with importance.

Culture has been an important reason why the middle ages has
changed into the renaissance.
Knowing truth, having more knowledge, and reconnecting
to nature has been a major key during the renaissance because this is
what we gained from it which all connects into science. As it states on
Source: Drawings of the universe by Claudius Ptolemy (circa 100 CE)
you can tell that the universe looks very different from what it looks
like now if the renaissance never happened we would be built up in a
lie and never knew truth. A second factor why science has been part
of the renaissance is because of what it clearly states in Source:
Drawing of the universe by Nicolaus Copernicus you can tell that after
the renaissance we found out the truth and gained more knowledge of
how we view things in this world. This also makes us see that humans
werent the most important thing and that not everything revolved
around us. Another factor is also according to Source: A woodcut called
Zodiac Man from a book by German astronomer Johann
Regiomontanus, 1512, and A Woodcut from the anatomy book On the
Makeup of the Human Body by belgian physician Andreas Vesalius,
1543. As you can tell in the first picture all the zodiac signs controlled
your body like aries the ram controlled your head but in the next
picture we realize the truth and the reality of things which in for all was
a good thing. As my last reason why the advances of science has
changed us was because according to the Source: A Woodcut from the
anatomy book On the Makeup of the Human Body by belgian physician
Andreas Vesalius, 1543. You can tell that all your organisms were there
including your brain, your ribs, and your bones etcetera. Now we have
viewed ourselves as our own. Science has been great during the
renaissance we have gained knowledge truth and learned how to view
ourselves as our own.
As it concludes the advances of culture and science has
been very important for ourselves. Now we view ourselves differently
with important we have gained knowledge learned truth and were able
to have our own beliefs all thanks to renaissance. This is how the
renaissance change mans view of man.
