determine which student gets to come to the board throughout the

Greetings: Each student rolls a die. The teacher will greet the
student with whichever greeting appears on the die.
Attendance: The students will each receive a picture of
themselves. Teacher will say[students name] is here today, and
his job is to help keep it safe. This is repeated for each student
and teacher.

Date: Student comes to the side board. Teacher points to the date
and reads aloud. [Today is Monday, January 25, 2016] Teacher
guides student to smartboard. Student fills in the blanks on the
board.
Day of the Week: Student comes to the side board and the
teacher points and reads aloud Yesterday was Sunday. Today is
Monday. Tomorrow will be Tuesday. Teacher then guides student
to the smartboard board to fill in the blanks. *days of the week

Months of the Year: Student comes to the side board and the
teacher points and reads aloud Last month was December. This
month is January. Next month will be February. Teacher then
guides student to the smartboard board to fill in the blanks.

Weather: Student comes to the smartboard and teacher asks
Was today sunny, rainy, cloudy, or snowy? the student will place
what they think the weather was like in the correct space. Teacher
then asks was today cold or hot? he student will place what they
think the weather was like today.
Song: Student will roll the die and teacher will play the
corresponding song to whichever song the die lands on.
Social Story: There are two social stories/videos each week. If
there is a video, play the video. If there is a book, read the book
and include asking higher level questions.

Teacher will reiterate what the social lesson taught in the video or book. Teacher will then send
students to a specific rotation.
