grains. Also, one cup of rice contains only 1.8 grams of fat.
When people eat Basmati Brown Rice in comparison to White Rice
they can reduce their weight, waist and hip circumference, BMI,
lower their Blood Pressure and blood sugar. The reason for this is
the fiber content. Brown Rice has 4 times as much fiber as white
rice which fosters the growth of good bacteria. The fiber content of
brown rice makes you feel full, so you would consume fewer calories and this accounts for the anti obesity effects of brown rice. It
stabilizes your blood sugar so it is much better for diabetics.
Besides the fiber there is all sorts of vitamins and minerals and phytonutrients that are lost when brown rice is milled into white rice.
Brown rice also helps to lower cholesterol and inhibits human cancer cell growth because of all the antioxidants in the brown rice. The
Adventist Health study has shown that one serving of brown rice per
week lowers our risk of bowel cancer by 40%.
What you are at 60 is what you have become? Not yet 60, do
something about becoming the person God wants you to be
This study also showed other foods that help lower our risk for cancer such as cooked green vegetables, dried fruit, and legumes but
they had to be eaten 3 times per week to lower our risk, of bowel
cancer. Black, purple, and red rice showed an even more nutritious
benefit when eaten with lentils, and legumes.

o you find yourself at odds with a close friend? Is a coworker trying to undermine your credibility with your
boss? If so, you are not alone. Opportunities for conflict are everywherein your home, workplace, church,
and community. Your response could make or break
the relationship.
Pamela Conrad understands the difference a biblical response could
make. Several years ago, she received a letter from her mother-inlaw that contained "20 years of pent up anger."
She had just buried her 35-year-old brother who had committed
suicide and was recovering from pneumonia.

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:11
Keeping that in mind, here some practical tips, gleaned from professional conciliators, that can help you resolve personal conflict:
"Pray for wisdom, humility and the right words. Then prepare."
Propose a solution. Remember the relationship is more
important than the issue. When working toward a solution,
consider Philippians 2:4-5: "Each of you should look not only
to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your
attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus." Seek
solutions that keep everyone's best interests in mind.

Matthew 15:4-6
4 For God said, Honor your father and motherand Anyone
who curses their father or mother is to be put to death. 5
But you say that if anyone declares that what might have
been used to help their father or mother is devoted to God,
6 they are not to honor their father or mother with it. Thus
you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.
Genesis 21:1-3
1 Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and
the LORD did for Sarah what he had promised. 2 Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at
the very time God had promised him. 3 Abraham gave the
name Isaac to the son Sarah bore him.
John 19:25-27
25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mothers
sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26
When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom
he loved standing nearby, he said to her, Woman, here is
your son, 27 and to the disciple, Here is your mother.
From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
