Make a project on photosynthesis. Conduct the following experiment: Take a potted

plant with broad leaves. Take two strips of black paper and cut out a small square in
their center. Cover a part of two leaves with these paper clips. Keep the plant in the
sunlight for 2-5 days. Observe the difference in the color of the uncovered and the
covered portion of the leaf. Perform iodine test on this leaf. Did you observe any
difference in result? Now take the second leaf. Remove its stripe and expose the covered
part to the sunlight for 2-3 days and do the iodine test again. Record and explain your
observation.(Support your project with suitable diagrams/pictures)

Make a 5 page report on green house effect.

Collect following information from at least 10 children(also mention their names and
age) and find the average at which children loose their milk teeth.
*Age at which their first tooth fell.
*Age at which last tooth fell.

*Number of teeth lost.

*Number of teeth replaced.(do this in your activity file)

Make a 5 page report on silk route.

Prepare a presentation on the life cycle of silkworm using proper content and
photographs.(Bring it in a CD)

Paste different types of natural fibers (like wool,silk,cotton & jute)and name their
sources. (Do this in activity file.)

Paste 5 real samples with proper names of good conductor of heat & 5 bad conductors of
heat in your activity file.

8.

Read ch-3 :Fiber to fabric and ch-4:Heat and prepare one crossword Puzzle each with 8
across words & 8 downward words.

9.

Make a working model on human digestive system.
