Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman all acceptable fonts please dont get
brave or adventurous please your CV (and with fonts) isnt the place for it

Outlandish detail about the most inane things. You used to work in the
admin department and there were people calling regularly throughout the
day to discuss some of the issues with the invoicing. For example one a man
called and.snore. Lost me already

has happened. Right...
Check out my photo in my CV it's small/weird/pixelated/freaky/off

phone number? (or at least one missing...)
A CV with the word CV in size 32 font on your CV.(really??!)
Work experience: Bar Work 2009-2012.wonderful level of detail :)
Im hardworking, motivated, organised and a good teamplayer Generic to
the death are we?
Drop the prose. Who honestly will read 7 long sentences about you?
Sending your CV as an odt/txt/html or other random file more big no-nos
Dont leave your resume named sdjklsjkdl.docx (yes it also happens)
Dont name your resume X place application 200X' (yes it happens)
Dont highlight weaknesses
Detail matters I do yoga & swimming - sure youre not lying? Or maybe you
did it once ever lol
Too much detail doesnt matter - 13 swimming meetings, 9 in Slough
