Use the mirror http://gen.lib.rus.ec/

EDIT: gen.lib.rus.ec is the search only mirror but the download links
that don't point back to libgen.org should still work.
EDIT: libgen.in is just an alternate domain name so you can use it the
same way as libgen.org.

You can poke around the libgen message board off of the main page:
menu item "forum" -> "sitemap"
LINK. Tons of mirrors.
I just clicked on the members icon, then clicked on the one with the
most posts, "bookwarrior", and he explained what has been going on.
"bookwarrior", who is an admin, posted that someone died earlier this
year, and then recently, whois(dns system) got updated, and the dead
guy had vital info that died with him.

Im truly sad for this, I cant believe it took me so long to find out. Im
thankfull for all the disinterested help my peers and I got through
libgen. Rest in peace.

IP address of libgen.in is 95.31.43.252 in case DNS goes down again.

They lost access to the libgen.org FQDN due to the death of a

contributor, so many hardcoded links are fubar'd. The suggested link
is http://gen.lib.rus.ec/ which has survived for a while now.
We need to modify e.g. libgen librarian to mitigate against DNS
breakage in future.

Libgen.in is pretty good too, exact layout as previous libgen.org and as

far as I'm concerned an equally vast database

It is the same machine, just the name is different.

Unfortunately, a few people made links to libgen.org which is probably
lost for good.

Damn, I want it back so badly, more specifically an FTP site. It's not
the first and not the last time it'll happen right? As soon as anybody
has any info as to why it went down please post here?
There should be information on this forum but I don't speak Russian so
I'm having a hard time

The person that had the legal right to the .org site died and the site
reps can not get access to change the DNS to point to their site.
