I.

Introduction

A. Many opportunities present us in America, such as jobs, better

lifestyles, safety and many other factors. It is also very vital for
immigrants, specifically.
B. The definition of Immigration: The action of coming to live permanently in
a foreign country. The issue is many foreign people that immigrate to the United
States are not legal so it creates controversy on why they should be allowed
without proper documentation to live here.
C. Importance of the Issue: It has been an issue ever since immigrating starting
becoming normal. Many people came over to the United States to look for
simply a better life, but people had more issues with their non-American
backround and proper documentation.

II.

Brief Overview of Opposing Position: Counterargument

A. Describe the basic view point of the opposition
1. On most researches, and other validations, immigration
has proven to be better for our country, as far as
production and ethnicity percentage.
B. Supporting Arguments
1. Other reports and studies say that immigrants in
fact, are not helping the country and only making it
worse. In that case, it does make some sense on
why this is becoming an epidemic.
2. Many people always refer back to the unemployment
rate being at high points in recent years for America.

That is a very good study that validates many

debates.
C. Analysis
1. To summarize, it is very important to know that
immigration has both its pros and cons. Many factors
reasoning indeed it is good for the country, and other
factors saying it is not.
D. Thesis
1) I think my reasoning that immigration is better is
because it shows in studies that more percentage of
immigrants, the better the percentages for work and
income were.

Main Point #1
A. From my judgement, immigration should be allowed more as
the percentages back that up.
B. 1. For instance, if we didnt have hard working immigrants,
then less jobs there would be, and what the U.S needs is
growth within it.
2. 25% increase in jobs over time when immigrants were
allowed without documentation.
3. Allows diversity, something most countries just dont have.
4. Immigrants are basically the founders of America, which is
ironic because many people dont want any part of the
people who had part of Americas creation.
5. Whoever is working in America from another country, they
take things as its their last day and work their tails off.
C. Based on this research, immigration ultimately has been a
proven fact through studies that indeed it does have many
cons, it has more pros and has many factors to it.

D. In summary, immigration is a risk, no doubt. Many people are

not comfortable with it, but many others are. It helps being
optimistic and really sit down and review the facts that

immigration helps the country more than it does not.

Main Point #2
A. Without immigrants, America would be lazier. The jobs immigrants
do are the one Americans would swear on their life they would
never occupy that job.
B. With many immigrants, we tend to appreciate things more when we
witness the immigrants working.
C. To elaborate, some of this stuff can be twisted, but this is the truth
of it all.
D. As a result, I feel necessary to say that immigration is very

important and much needed for this country.

Main Point #3
A. Ultimately, I feel it is necessary for America to have immigration
as it has many benefits to us.
B. 1. In particular, it can help the growth of everyone that is here
for jobs as we are the ones assigning the jobs to them and not
doing them.
3. Similarly, it does count that we should be more
fortunate for it.
4. 43 percent of immigrants have been opposed of
threats simply because theyre foreign.
C. In analysis, this information is very vital and I believe all of it

should be as well.
D. Therefore, you may not like immigration, but I do.
Conclusion
A. Immigration should be offered more to immigrants as the facts
show it helps more than it hurts.

B. Without immigration, we dont have diversity. So we must remain

patient and help the cause and make this country more diverse.
C. We are very unappreciative, so we must appreciate more and
stop relying on immigrants for the bad jobs. It helps because our
lives in general are better than most other countries.
