-Keep thumbs close together with
fingers spread (make a triangle
with thumbs and index fingers).
-Keep both hands at the same
level.
- Stay square to the ball.

- If ball is lower than chest put

make a pocket.
- Once ball is caught, bring up to

Activity 3: (Back them up three)

baseline three feet away from
their partner. Each student will
throw the ball to their partner,
who will then throw it back.. If
both partners were able to throw
and catch the football, one
partner takes three steps back. If
one of the partners drops the
ball, that partner takes 1 step
forward. The game continues
until only 1 team has not
dropped a ball.

Activity 4: (No Mans land)

The class will be divided in half,


with half of the students on one
line and the other half 10 yards
away on the other line. Half of
the students both sides will be
wearing red pennies while the
other half are wearing yellow. No
student is allowed to enter the
space between the two lines
(except to retrieve a ball). The
yellow shirts will be throwing the
ball across the zone to another
player on the same team. If the
yellow player catches the ball,
then both teammates take a set
outside of the playing area. The
players on the red team are
attempting to block/intercept the
ball before the yellow player
catches it. If a ball is intercepts, a
yellow player sitting out must
rejoin the game. After each round
the red and yellow teams will
switch rolls.

Transition- At the end of class


each student will return their
flags into the bag.
