Policies

Registration Fees:
There is a $25.00 registration fee per dancer that is due upon turning in the registration form.

Registration:
Students cannot participate in class until registration form is turned in.

Family Discounts:
Adventure Dance Center offers family discounts with the student taking the most classes being
considered the primary. Family members are not restricted to same class as other family member for
discount. The capped Family Discount rate is $140.00. This Discount applies to immediate family
members only (siblings).

Class Prices:
Per student,and on a per month basis.
1 class: $40/mo.
2 classes: $60/mo.
3 classes: $80/mo.
4 classes: $100/mo.
5 classes: $120/mo.
Unlimited: $140/mo.

Recitals:
Following the season Adventure Dance Center will have a spring dance recital. This will take place the
end of April or the first weekend of May. The exact date will be posted by the second month of class and it
will not be rescheduled due to any scheduling conflicts. Costume prices to be determined and will be due
by December 1st. Tickets for the recital will be $10 dollars per person and will go on sale in March. Tickets
will also be available for sale at the door. All students are required to participate in the dress rehearsal
prior to recital, failure to do so will result in removal from the performance.

Tuition Payments:
Monthly Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month. Failure to provide payment by the second
week of each month will result in a $10 late fee for each additional week payment is late.
Payments may be made in the Payment box in waiting area or to the instructor. Please make all checks
out to Adventure Dance Center. We do not accept debit or credit cards.

Payment Policies:
*Any payment that is not honored by a financial institution will result in a $10 late fee.
*Any returned check will result in a $25.00 service charge.
*No discounts or prorated options will be given for scheduled days off, holidays, illness, family events, or
school functions. Prorates will only apply to joining a class. (Example if a student joins a class on the third
meeting of that month, payment will be prorated for the final 2 meetings)
*For insufficient or neglected payments, student participation may be suspended until account is settled.
*All tuition, recital, and other payments are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
* A receipt will be given if requested.

Withdrawal:
*There is a month minimum for all classes. (Student may exchange current class with another class within
this time frame. Decision must be made 2 weeks before the third month of classes begins.)
*A two week notice is required to discontinue any classes.
*No refunds will be given for withdrawal from class.

Attendance/Tardiness:
Attendance is important for correct learning of the dance. A minimum attendance level is required. If a
student misses a significant number of classes at the instructors discretion student may not be permitted
to participate in the end of the year recital.

Lobby:
The lobby attached to the studio is only open for parents who wish to wait for their children to finish class.
All children must remain in the studio as to keep a constructive learning environment. Parents are invited
to watch through the glass windows once a month when the curtains are open. Parents and siblings are
not allowed to enter the studio while class is in session. We have students with severe nut allergies so
please be respectful of that in the lobby. If you or your child make a mess, please be respectful of our
facility and clean it up.

Care of Students:
Adventure Dance Center will not be held responsible or liable for care before or after class for students.
Adventure Dance Center regards safety as a priority and will always look after the well-being of a student.
Calls will be made to parent/guardian for students left for excessive amounts of time and student may be

asked to wait in the lobby until parent/guardian arrives. Please be considerate of studio hours. Parents
with students under the age of 5 must inform their teacher before leaving the studio. If parent does not
return in time before next class begins, student will remain with that same teacher or be asked to wait in
the lobby. Students may not enter the studio until instructed to do so.
**** Children are NOT to be at the studio more than 15 minutes before or after class. Additional fees will
be added to your monthly payment if children are left unsupervised in the lobby, unless prior
arrangements have been made with the instructor.

Questions and Concerns:


All questions and/or concerns are to be discussed with the studio owner Cora Visger before or after class,
through appointment, email, or phone call. Please do not Facebook message or interrupt a class.
