This article explains the need of God in students lives. Giving students faith in a superior
being shows the human heart that this isnt the end. Students have been affected positively with
school prayer because they have values and push for success to a better life. The study of
statistics show students werent as trouble as they are now. Students only focused on their mind,
body and spirit which gives their lives fulfillment before the 1960s. Kids were still disruptive and
rebellious as always but it never came to a point where such a drastic change interrupted their
success in life. Leaving god out of the picture only gives them a sense of temptation of values on
earth that will only last so long. Students only begin to feed themselves with negativity and
temporary things that will only disappear if that dont believe. I will use this in my research to
stress how important it is to have morals and values in life.
"Education Expert: Removing Bible, Prayer from Public Schools Has Caused Decline." CNS
News. 2014. Web. 17 Mar. 2016.
A professor named William Jeynes from a California state local college suggests that the
Bible and prayer should be placed back in schools. He believes that turning away from an oath to
oneself causes consequences. By giving students a foundation to start with will help them work
their way up to greatness. She explains that the some schools provide the Bible for literary
purposes but never really stress the importance. Such as the moment of silence gives a students a
moment to choose. Studies and surveys show that students with or without faith both respond
positively to the Bible with literature curriculum. Most students say they learn about the Bible
more in school than out church. Students give positive feedback because they are willing to learn
something new. It increases their curiosity and interests in Christianity. I will use this in my
research to show the interest in prayer with or without faith.
