Final Exam Project
Directions: Create a presentation using Google slideshow -like we have done before and share it
with me: Robert.Mitchell@stokes.k12.nc.us
1. For the final exam in this class you will create a presentation. For your presentation,
you may select any topic we have covered this semester in American History II. Select
anything that you have found especially interesting. Some examples could include the
civil rights movement, any presidential administration, the Vietnam War, Civil Rights,
Cuban Missile Crisis, a particular battle from WWI or WWII, the Holocaust, or a
particularly interesting figure from American History II. Remember, these are only
examples! You have the option of selecting ANY topic from our class!
2. Your presentation should include a minimum of 11 slides but can include more as
necessary. The rubric for how your presentation will be graded is outlined below.
3. After selecting your topic, use what you have learned in American History II this
semester in conjunction with any further research online to create your presentation. If
you need assistance selecting a topic, please ask for help!
4. Your final slide should discuss the HISTORICAL IMPACT of your topic. What
important impact did your topic have on American History AND why? Make sure to
include this slide at the end of your presentation!
5. Remember, your sources should be correctly cited on each slide or you may cite all
sources at the end on a culminating slideeither way is fine as long as all sources are
cited!
6. Once your presentation has been completed, share it with me or send to me by email.
7. Dont forget to use the following rubric to guide your presentation! This assignment will
count as 25% of your final grade for the course!
