Content Development:
Student misbehavior was not addressed during content presentation at Moscow
Middle School. There was talking occurring while explaining the floor games
lessons.
I was taking too long to explain the game and nutrition aspects during a lesson.
Students became bored as they were sitting instead of moving. Students wanted to
move and play the game. Sedentary time was not minimized in order to increase
physical activity.
I was very teacher directed in addressing the students. Students were not engaged
as there was repetitive questions or recall. Critical thinking and
exploration/discovery of materials was lacking. Students became bored and
misbehavior occurred.
