The applied ShurgraphD is a special type of the FLUXUS ADM flow
meter. Among the flow and temperature measurement also the sound
velocity as a characteristic of a certain liquid is determined.
For visualisation, recording and data exchange a data acquisition unit is
integrated in the ShurgraphD. Digital signals e.g. from the PLC system
can be recorded beside the other data.

Description
In the food and beverage industry the production plants are cleaned
periodically at a certain time by the integrated CIP (cleaning in place)
plant. All product wetted parts of the plant are cleaned by a “washing
program” in different cycles with cold, hot water and various chemicals.
The requirement is to adapt this cleaning process as good as possible to
the specific production plant to minimize the use of time, energy and
chemicals with an optimum cleaning result. Dairy plant
