2. Outline their iMovie Trailer.

How will you link the new materials to prior learning?

The students have been doing a year-long study of their family tree, so the
books that they read will help them make connections to their own family.
Process of Learning
What will students do?
1. I will start the lesson by showing my iMovie Trailer again.
2. Then I will explain that we are going to start filling out graphic
organizers.
3. I will use the Elmo (document camera) to fill out an outline for my
book. Asking them what to put for different blanks.
4. Then I will use Apple TV to show them how to put the information
from the graphic organizer into the iMovie - text and pictures.
5. Then I will ask them to get into their pairs and find a spot where
they can write. (If on the carpet, grab a clip board to write on)
6. I will call groups to go get the same number iPad they used on
Thursday if they started.
7. Once I see pairs, I will have the paper passer hand out the graphic
organizers to the designated pairs. (Names will be on each packet,
since there are two different levels)
