The numbers of immigrants from the year of 2009 till 2014 shows that
immigrant numbers have declined dramatically. Mexicans which make up
about ( 49% ) all of unauthorized immigrations have been declining in
numbers as well , Jens Manuel Krogstad and Jerrey S. Passel which say and
prove , There were 5.6 million Mexican unauthorized immigrants living in
the U.S. in 2014, down from 6.4 million in 2009, according to preliminary Pew
Research Center estimates. As the numbers decline it makes it easier for
organizations to find out where these unauthorized immigrants are settled. It
is researched that six states are accounted for ( 60% ) of where unauthorized
immigrants are populated in these states California, Texas, Florida, New
York, New Jersey and Illinois. Between the years 2009 and 2011 the
distribution of the population has shifted and moved towards other states
several East Coast states were among those with population increases,
whereas several Western states were among those with population
decreases. There were seven states overall in which the unauthorized
immigrant population increased: Florida, Idaho, Maryland, Nebraska, New
Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Meanwhile, there were 14 states in which
the population decreased over the same time period: Alabama, Arizona,
California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky,
Massachusetts, Nevada, New Mexico, New York and Oregon. Despite a
decline, Nevada has the nations largest share (8%) of unauthorized
immigrants in its state population.
the states, Nevada (10%), California (9%), Texas (9%) and New Jersey (8%)
had the highest shares of unauthorized immigrants in their labor forces.
In other words immigration will either continue to decline or maybe it
will increase within the years ahead. So immigration? I believe is not the
permanent settlement of someone who is unauthorized to be here, instead I
see it as a permanent movement who unauthorized people are constantly
trying to benefit out from. It is a border in society because millions cross
every year and even if they were to try to reduce the numbers or come to
some sort of agreement, society will never truly agree to it and nor will the
people.
