work activities and socialize in play with each other getting to know each other
more.

Anticipatory Set (Connection/Motivation)
The teacher will ask the students to get up and stretch a little for a fun
activity.
The teacher will ask them to reach up to the sky and down to their toes.
She will then ask them if theyve ever turned their body into a boat?
She will then explain that this could be done with the help of another
person.
Students will be then have a few minutes to think about what their favorite
part of the activity was.
Closure (sharing/reflection, next steps)
Students should be reminded of how much fun they had during this
activity.
Teacher will share the pictures the class drew.
This activity should continue everyday during class with different
classmates each day.
Activities such as the students walking together like a funny animal (ex.
Bunny, horse, dog, and spider) to the door, hopping or walking sideways.
Another activity would be, the teacher can make a T-chart that shows how
many students liked the Row your Boat activity with the show of smiley
and frown faces.
