Issues
Gun control- laws should be stricter so that we can reduce shootings and minimize
the amount of people using guns in the wrong manner.
Drug policy-keep it the same, because its strict enough as it is; making more
restrictions will only increase addiction desire to try to get the drugs illegally.
Minimum wage-don't raise it, because increasing minimum wage will increase
inflation, increasing the prices of things we buy.
Student loans-increase taxes on rich, so that more students will be able to attend
college because the interest on loans will be lower.

Functions
RECRUITING CANDIDATES-Heat party nominate candidates for political office. This simplifies the voters role and brings a certain
order to what could be a chaotic electoral process.
EDUCATING THE PUBLIC-Heat party help in stimulating interest in public affairs. They explain their stand, policies and principles, as
well as their approach to the burning problems of the country. Thus indirectly shape public opinion through speeches from the platform
on radio, publication and distribution of literature, and by house-to-house canvassing of the voters.
OPERATING THE GOVERNMENT- Participate in elections to occupy political charges in party democracies, lead to arising of good part
of government authorities.
REDUCTION OF CONFLICT- Members could resolve their conflicts through debate, like the laws that should be change or implemented. Simply, it
is deciding on what is best for the party.

why was the party founded?

The Heat Party was a small party that was broken away from the democratic
party, this is found because the democratic has numerous issues; and we only
want to focus on what is more important at the moment in time.
