I am very excited about the Forensic Scientist position that has recently
become available at the Wilson County Police Department. Gathering
evidence from crime scenes is a very exciting and interesting career that has
always fascinated me ever since I was young. Since I have always thought
this career was interesting I have pursued the education I need in order to
qualify me to work in a crime lab.

I have certain studies in criminal justice, biochemistry and toxicology. I also

have a completed internship where I have gained experience in working in a
lab. With this experience I have learned how to handle evidence the correct
way. My verbal and writing skills are excellent and I have the ability to
communicate efficiently with all levels of management. I am excellent at
problem solving and decision making skills along with the ability to detect
even the smallest detail. I know that I am the right person for this position
