Resolution
The following view style types are currently recognized as the source types for all
other types:

KeyPlan

Orthographic

RulesetStyles

Use the following procedure to add a custom view style type to the catalog. Note
that write access to the shared content folders mentioned below is required.
1. Browse to SharedContent\Drawings\Catalog\Metastyles.
2. As appropriate for the type of view styles that you are trying to organize,
copy one of the following source files and paste it into the same folder:
o

KeyPlan.xml

Orthographic.xml

RulesetStyles.xml

3. Rename the new .xml file according to how it should appear the View Style
Type list.
o

NOTE: Refrain from making any manual edits inside the .xml file
as modifications may cause the view style type to function incorrectly.

4. Browse to SharedContent\Drawings\Catalog\Rules.
5. Create a new folder and name it to match the .xml file in Step 3.
6. Add desired view style .xml files to the folder, keeping in mind that any view
styles added to the folder must be of the same type as the folder itself. For
example, a RulesetStyles view style should not be added to an
Orthographic type folder.
The new view style type will now appear in the View Style Type list along with any
corresponding view styles that were added.
