Four hotsy-totsy young lovers are on the
lam from the high-hats world of rules.
Along the way, madness ensues when
the lovers paths cross with the king and
queen of the fairies, a company of (not
very good) actors, and one very impish
sprite named Puck. As Lysander says, The
course of true love never did run smooth.
Full of madcap chases and magic, A Midsummer Nights Dream is a humdinger of
play. A play all about the absurdity of love
complicated, wonderful, icky, ridiculous,
glorious love!
Shakespeare & Company is a classical
repertory theatre performing at the Outdoor Theatre complex of Century College.
Their goal is to provide an environment
where families can come and enjoy an
informal picnic atmosphere and see
performances of Shakespeare and other
classical plays. We are invited to stroll
around the campus and enjoy the pond
and nature preserve. The play is informal;
it is an attempt to recreate the feeling of
the Elizabethan theatre-its excitement, and
vitality! Dont worry about the children; let
them run and play on the grass. After all,
from their imaginations and exuberance
will come tomorrows actors and poets.
Seating is on the lawn, so patrons are encouraged to bring blankets or low-backed
lawn chairs to the performance. We will
be arriving about 30-45 minutes before
showtime, so feel free to bring a picnic
supper or to wander the campuss pond
and nature preserve. Min 6

A divine family comedy, based on a true
story. Meet the Nowaks - a Catholic family living in Buffalo. Clara and her three
grown children have always known they
were special, ever since the miraculous
night in 1942 when the Blessed Mother appeared to grandpa in his barbershop. Since
then, the neighborhood has looked upon
the Nowaks 20 foot high commemorative
shrine as a beacon of hope and faith in
the town. But when daughter Ruth unveils
her plan to write a play about the miracle,
a long-ago deathbed confession reveals
that the family is actually Jewish... and the
legend hilariously unravels. Min 5

Woodwind Ensemble Workshop

Calling all woodwind players! Any child or

adult who has been playing a woodwind
instrument for a year or more is welcome
to sign up and have fun playing in a small
group. This includes flutes, clarinets,
saxophones, oboes, and bassoons. Depending on our instrumentation, we may
have a trio, quartet, or a larger woodwind
ensemble. We will work on playing without
a conductor, using our ears to help us
adjust to other players, arranging music
for a unique group of instruments, and
playing a wide range of music. While there
will likely be quite a bit of classical music,
we will explore several other styles as well,
possibly including jazz, ragtime, pop,
video game music, and more. Together as
a group we will find one or more performance opportunities to share our hard
work. Since small ensembles rely on participation from every member, please sign

The Prescott Black Hats:

Outdoor Airsoft Club

Why sit inside and play video games when

you could be outside in the field living
them! The Prescott Black Hats: Outdoor
Airsoft Club invites both experienced
players and first timers to join its ranks.
The Black Hats strive to provide through
its rules and leadership, an environment of
safety and fun, conducive to team and personal growth as players. We prefer all players be at least high school age (15+) and
older, as airsoft can be a high speed, physically demanding sport; all minors must
have parental consent. One of our biggest
goals is to keep airsoft affordable for new
players so our senior members regularly
lend extra gear to help outfit first timers
from your boots to your weapon our goal
is to help you get in quick and affordably.
We make it a point to organize one or
more field play days a month, we also
scheduled bi-monthly meetings/gear swap
meets in warmer weather. All events are
scheduled at least two weeks in advance,
large events will be scheduled months in
advance; dates and times can be found on

the library, you will receive the information and materials they need to participate,
plus a free book. The 1000 Books program
