Based on your self-assessment, your administrators input, and any school or district initiatives, what professional development goal have you
identified? What is an area of knowledge or skill you would like to strengthen?

I have decided to focus on increasing knowledge of formative assessment through FAME. In Quarter 2, I will focus on increasing
knowledge of using success criteria for peer evaluation. In Quarter 4, I will focus on having students increase knowledge of applying
success criteria and peer responses to improve work.
Describe the connection between this goal and your teaching assignment. How does it relate to the domains and components of the BCPS evaluation
criteria?

This goal is directly tied to our schools FAME initiative, our SPP Key Action 2 under Math and Reading, and to
Domain 3d. Using assessment in instruction

I will know I have achieved my goal when I am able to use create success criteria with student input and use a variety of meaningful
assessments in order to capture formative assessment. 3 different types of assessment in one week (including peer evaluation) would be
measureable evidence.
