Dear Student, Parents and Administrators:
Precision Cuts, located at 14511 WoodForest, Houston, Texas 77049, announces its
scholarship program for the academic year 2015-1016. Precision Cuts goal is to foster
educational opportunities in the local community and educate our youthsthe up and coming
leaders of tomorrow. The Precision Cuts team is made up of certified barbers and hair stylists
who guarantee our customers professional customer service and a professional image with every
haircut and every hair style. Together, the team will award three $500 scholarships to deserving
high school students in the northern Houston, Texas area.
To participate in this scholarship opportunity, the student should be a high school senior with
plans to attend an institution of higher learning. He/she should complete the attached scholarship
application, prepare the required essay and submit the total package to the email address or
designated high school counselor as stated on the application starting January 25, 2016. The
completed application must be submitted by the deadline no later than Friday, April 22, 2016.
The Precision Cuts team will select winners from the pool received within the deadlines dates.
The scholarships shall be awarded to the successful students at Precision Cuts on May 21, 2015.
Prior to receiving their scholarships, each student must present confirmation of his/her
acceptance to an accredited four-year institution.
Scholarship funding will be generated through fundraisers, donations and a laptop computer
raffle. Specifications for the new laptop computer are as follows: HP Laptop; loaded with
Microsoft Office Package; and a 500GB hard drive.

The Precision Cuts team way of paying it forward is to give back to the local community;
thus, the team is working hard to ensure a quality education for our youths. In doing so, the team
needs your commitment. The team respectfully requests your generosity in rendering
a charitable donation or purchasing a raffle ticket to support The Precision Cut Scholarship fund
drive. Any monetary amount would be much appreciated. In addition, please direct a deserving
high school senior bound and prepared for college to complete a Precision Cut Scholarship
Application. This effort cannot be a success without you.
