    ofexpression,shouldtheU.S.dothesame?Speakingaboutthis,
    Freedomof
    expression
    shouldbelimited,topreventconflictsandprotectpeoplefrommentalor
    physicalharm.
    PopeFrancissaid,Thereisalimit.Everyreligionhasitsdignityinfreedomof
    expression,therearelimits(TheGuardian2015).Althoughfreedomofspeechisa
    right,thatdoesnotgiveanyonetherighttodisrespectothersortomakefunofthem.
    Wordscanalsoserveasbulletssomepeoplearementallyaffectedbyinsultsor
    stereotypes.Ifsomeoneweretobreakhisneighborsarm,hewouldbecharged.Ifa
    personweretoharmsomeonementallyormakethemsuicidalbyhisorherwords,
    shouldtheybechargedaswell?Oneoftheworstthingstohappeninacommunityisto
    acceptprejudiceandoffensivephrases,thiscanleadtoconflicts,andtheresultswould
    notbepretty.
    TherewillneverbeaniggeratSAEyoucanhanghimfromatree
    remindsusofourgreatestnationalshame(Greenfield).Howisthisnothate?Howcan
    thisbesaidwithoutconsequences?Imagine,theAmericanGovernmentallowssuch
    thingstobesaidwithoutpunishment.Thisshowsthatthereissomethingwrong.

    speechencourageviolence,andsometypesthatareviolence.Theproblemwouldbe
    theFirstAmendment(Greenfield),thepurposeofthefirstamendmentistopreserve
    humanrights,butwhenitisusedtojustifyverbalabuse,itisdoingtheopposite.
    Therearethosewhoopposelimitsonfreespeech,claimingthatthefirst
    amendmentprotectsthefreedomofexpression.
    Butthereisnohatespeechexception
    totheFirstAmendmentitdoesnotmatterifsomeonesexpressionsareoffensiveor
    not,eitherway,theyarestillprotectedbyourbillofrights(Volokh).Thereweresixty
    JewsthatagreedwithACLU,sayingthattheNazishavetherighttomarchinSkokie
    (TheSkokieLife1977).Althoughthereisanamendmentthatprotectsfreedomof
    speech,thereareinternationalhumanrightslawsthatstandagainsthatespeech,and
    theU.S.ratifiestheselaws(Cohen).
    Justbecauseapersoncandosomething,thatdoesnotmeanthey
    should.Freedomofspeechisafundamentalright,butitshouldhavesomerestrictions.
    Limitationswouldminimizeconflicts,anditwouldhelpreducementalharm.Ourcountry
    shouldfollowFrance,Germany,andothercountriesbypunishingpeoplethatcrossthe
    line.
