    TheFirstAmendmentoftheUnitedStatesConstitutionstatesthatthefreedomofspeechisa
    rightofanindividualthatprohibitsCongressfromrestrictingtheabilitytospeakfreely.Limitedplaces
    likeEurope,therehavebeencaseswherepeoplehavebeenshutdownandnotgivingtheopportunityto
    presentideasorspeakfreelyjustbecausesomeoneelsesaidso.Iffreedomofexpressionislimitedin
    justsomecases,thevisionthatthefoundingfathersoftheUnitedStatescreatedwouldberuined.Not
    onlywillthingschange,butpeoplewillalsobeafraidandwillconstantlywatchwhatisbeingsaid.
    Insomecases,itseemsasiftheoneswithahigherpowerormoreauthorityfeelasifthereisa
    needtostopdangerousorhatefulspeech.InthecaseofParisin2015,Thereisalimit.infreedom
    ofexpressiontherearelimits(TheGuardian1).InEuropethereisadifferencebetweenhatespeech
    andtheabilitytospeakfreely,therearelawsagainsthatespeech.Buthere'sthething,howcanonetell
    thedifferencebetweenactuallywantingtohurtanotherwithracistremarksorhurtfulcommentsanda
    violentwayofpresentingaspeech.Therecanbenolimitonspeech,thoseofthemagazineCharlie
    Hebdosimplypublishedacartoonthatoffendedapartofthepublicandcausedanunfortunateresult.
    Attheendoftheday,themagazinejustpublishedanopinionthatisaformoffreedomofexpression.
    ThesamesituationinSkokiein1977TheFirstAmendmentmaysaythefreedomofspeech,butnot
    thefreedomtospreadhatred(Dubey1).Becausenoteveryonecanseeeverythingthesameand
    agreeonsomething,itdoesntmeanthatonesidehastobesilencedtokeeppeaceororderin

    society.ThegroupofNatizshadtherighttomarchandprotestthethoughtspresentedbecausethe
    FirstAmendmentgivestherighttodoso.
    IftheUnitedStatesdecidesthatlimitingfreedomofspeechshouldbeapprovedtheneverything
    willchange.Byjustlimitingcertaincasesitshowsthatthereisawillingnesstogiveupthemostbasic
    rightahumanhastoofferandhastherightto.Whoexactlygetstodecidewhatcanbesaidandwhat
    cannot?Theoneswhoaremostsensitivearetheoneswhowantthelimitingtohappen,becausethat
    opinionistherightopinionandtheonlyonethathasanyvalue.Againshuttingdownwhatothershaveto
    sayandexpressfreely.Nopersonisforcedtolistentowhatanotherhastosay,allthathastobedone
    issimplytuneoutandwalkaway.
    Althoughtherecanseemlikeagroupofpeoplearetryingtoputanotherdownandmakefunof
    itdoesnthavetobethatway.Noonehastherighttoshutsomeoneupbecauseofdifferentviewsor
    beliefs.Theworldischanging,andthewaypeopleliveisdifferent.Therearenowdifferentwaysthat
    freedomofspeechcanbeexpressed,socialmedia,thewaypeopledressandevengender
    identification.FreedomofSpeech/Expressioncannotbelimitedincertaincasesbecausewhatthis
    countrywasfoundeduponwouldchangeaswouldtherightsofthoseinAmerica.
