you about the Champion League
JL: first of all we are going to talk to you about the
history of the UEFA Champions League, its also know
as the European Cup.
JD: In april 1955 UEFA adopted a European club
competition, the Champions League in Europe, better
know as the European Cup. In 1955, the first
chapionship was played. The firs winner was Real
Madrid team that won the trophy 5 consecutive years.
JL: The time of victories of Real Madrid began in the
first season, defeating the French side Stade de Reims
by 4 goals to 3. Players like Di Stefano, Puskas, Gento,
Santa Maria, Olsen, amoung other players playing for
Real Madrid on that time.

Nikola Kotkov, Florian Albert, Paul van Himst, Gerard
Muller, Claudio Sulser, Soren Lerby and Lionel Messi.
