1.First-generation PC/XT motherboards and power supplies did not require this voltage, so the pin
might be missing from the motherboard and terminal and the wire might be missing from the
connector (P8 pin 2).
2.I have seen some supplies where the manufacturer did not follow industry-standard wire colorcodes even though the signals were correct.
