Rage of Hades

introduction
This is the story of a warrior who's life is given a second chance to but people of his past thirst
for revenge. This story begins in Ithaca when Odysseus is happy and finally the gods have
allowed him to live happily with his family at his home where he didn't have to worry about
battling monsters, rowing ships, watching people die, but eventually all happy things come an
end. Odysseuss most precious and most important thing was then from him, from a god out of
rage and vengeance did he take what Odysseus truly loved and would die for. With help
Odysseus will go to hell and back to get what he is willed over and he will do whatever it takes
to get it. Many things and people will stand in his way, many obstacles, and with help he will do
what needs to be don.
part 1: Ithaca
Odysseus:
Ithaca, finally I'm home, no more being away from my family, no more wishing i was with my
wife and son, no i am finally at peaceful living and like this it will stay.
Telemachus:
father! Father! Come out into the fields with me, it'll be dark soon.
Penelope:
yes, go spend time with him, after all you have been gone a long time of his life its time to go
be his father. Don't worry about me ill be laying in the fields watching.
As Odysseus and his son go out into the fields he notices something strangely odd about how the
animals are acting. They run in fear as if they have just seen a ghost, and out of nowhere the

ground trembles, the skies turn black, the wind violently blows and out of the fire risen from hell
arises Hades the God of the underworld, the herald of fear, and by look in his eyes he didn't look
to happy. He looked as tho he was searching for something or someone. Then he spoke.
Hades:
I, Hades god of the underworld command that the one by the name Odysseus come forth.
Odysseus:
Telemachus, stay with your mother ill be right back.
Odysseus:
Hades, how can I be of service for you.
Hades:
I the god of the underworld need nothing from you, i am here because I seek vengeance upon
you for coming to the land of thy and taking what did not belong to you, if you believe that
steeling from a god is wise then let me show you what it feels like. Seize her and kill everyone
else!!!
And out of the fire comes Hadess demons from the underworld. Furies emerged, hell hounds
chased and horned demons spread across the land setting homes on fire, killing men, women, and
children just raging havoc amount the people of Ithaca, but hades didn't just want the people of
his land to be slaughtered like sheep, but to take what was most precious to to him just as
Odysseus had done to Hades. Hades took Penelope and by force but Hades then left a message
for Odysseus.
Hades:

If you ever want to see your wife again you will come where you know you can find me, come
if you dare or die trying
Odysseus:
Damn you Hades by the gods I will have your head even if it kills me i will come for you.
Penelope my beloved i will come for you.
Hades had taken his wife to the underworld and the only way to get to her was to do the one
thing he did when he left home, he had to travel by sea to the island of Persephone the magical
wife of Hades. Persephone is the only one who can send Odysseus to the underworld with her
magic pearls to retrieve his wife and kill Hades. Now begins the journey that Odysseus will take
to save his beloved from the pits of Hades.
part 2: the journey
To prepare for the journey ahead he couldn't do it alone he would need help to fight hades and
the monsters he would throw at him. What Odysseus didn't know was that the god of war Ares
had gotten into an argument with the gods of Olympus and argued that he should be the rightful
ruler of Olympus and so Zeus the kind of the gods banished him. With anger Ares decided to
help Hades prevent Odysseus from getting his wife and in return Hades would kill Zeus so that
Ares could rule over Olympus. so with Odysseus not knowing this Zeus made effort to warn him
and also send down a fallen warrior Achilles one of the greatest warriors to ever live, to assist
him in his journey. Also to enhance Odysseuss crew, Penelopes father king of Sparta assigned a
fleet of Spartans to assist him as well and a fine ship made from the finest wood in Sparta. The
men prepared for a long trip to the island of Persephone gathering weapons, food, drink, and any

other equipment they may need. The journey then began into the sea and to the island of
Persephone they proceeded.
Part 3: the unexpected battle
On there way to the island of Persephone Odysseus, Achilles, and the spartans go and sure
enough there was a surprise waiting for them there. Few days later the men arrive ashore to the
island of Persephone and there Ares the god of war stood with a small army of soldiers from the
underworld.
Odysseus:
Ares what brings you here that you stand in my front with an army of Hades?
Ares:
I should be the king of Olympus, i should be the one on top, Hades has promised that to me and
he only need you dead. I will make this fast and easy. You wont feel a thing
Achilles:
Ares you are misplaced, you shouldn't be a dog to Hades you should be in Olympus with the
rest of the gods but if a fight is that you wish i will show you who the real god of war is.
Ares is immediately threatened by Achilles for he is aware of his reputation but he suspects that
he is no match for a god. And so the two armies wage in battle as Odysseus and Achilles charge
at Ares. as they do Ares swing a punch at Odysseus and sends him flying through the air landing
in a bush, but achilles dodges left and slices his way through Ares back with his sharp blade.
Ares swings back but Achilles is to fast, exchanging blows blocking and ducking cutting each
other. While Odysseus is on the ground he sees something shining brightly in the bush next to
him, it appears to be a sword the only one that can kill a god sent from Zeus as help to get his

wife back but also to kill Ares for the disrespect he showed to the gods of Olympus. Odysseus
the picks up the sword, runs and jumps off a high rock behind Ares so he does not see him and
cleanly cuts his head straight off. Achilles is shocked and dumbfounded as to how he did it and
from that moment Ares soldiers disappeared.
Achilles:
took you long enough but i had it under control
Odysseus:
i saw that great job, now lets go and find Persephone, men stay with the ship.
Achilles:
lets, and we will get your wife back and end Hades from causing anymore trouble.
The two warriors go to find Persephone to get the pearls that will send them to the underworld.
And now that they have the sword of Zeus theres only one vision, end Hades retrieve Penelope.
part 4: Hades
The two travelers entered the temple of Persephone and there she was laying on her throne.
Persphone:
So what brings you to my temple travelers surely theres something you need me to do for you.
Odysseus:
yes indeed there is, we need to enter the land of Hades so that i may save my beloved wife
from the grasps of Hades. please help us.
Persephone:
and why would i do this
Achilles:

Because we understand that that you yourself hate Hades as a man and as a husband, killing him
will free you and you will be able to live a free woman.
Persephone:
okay you've caught my attention, I will allow you passage to the underworld, but do not mess
this up
The travelers poofed in smoke to the underworld and there he was, Hades sitting up on his throne
and my wife in a cage next to him.
Hades:
its about time you showed up, and look at who you brought with you, the mighty Achilles do
you really think you can take me over and get your wife back, if you want it, come get it.
Achilles:
Im gonna make sure you never see the light of day again you'll regret going against the gods
and ill be the one to release your head from your shoulders.
odysseus whispered to Achilles.
Odysseus:
Here take the sword distract him while i get my wife after I've gotten her back to earth we will
kill Hades
Achilles:
Hurry!
The two warriors scrambled one to the cage one to fight Hades. Achilles launches at Hades with
no sight of fear not even the slightest, Odysseus on the other hang struggling to get the cage open
saw that there was only one way to open the cage and the answer was around the neck of hades.

Achilles and Hades are battling and Hades while distracted Odysseus snacks up from behind, but
that wouldn't work, Hades threw Odysseus down the steps leaving his throne. Achilles see an
opportunity to strike him down and takes it. Whenever Odysseus was thrown by Hades he was
close enough to Hades and snatched his necklace holding the key to the cage with his wife
inside. Odysseus threw it to his wife she let herself out and Hades least expected her to come out,
but once he saw her he threw fire at her burning a hole straight through. Everything slowed down
and Odysseus was just so pale faced and so shocked that that happened. Odysseus raged with
anger and Achilles kicked him down to one knee, with Odysseus still charging at him punched
him square in the face keeping him down. Hades was down and Achilles struck his head clean
with the sword and like he said to Hades he would have his head. Odysseus walked over to his
wife holding her dead body in her hands.
part 5: The trip home
After leaving the underworld Achilles and Odysseus along with his dead wife return home with
the help of Persephone. Once they returned home Zeus spoke to Odysseus.
Zeus:
Odysseus, you have completed your journey and have also done me a great favor. In return i
will grant you whatever two wishes you would like, under one condition. One of my gods has
fallen and someone needs to replace the god of war.
Odysseus:
Zeus it would be a great honor, but to stay away from my family anymore would be the last of
things i would like to do.
Then achilles joined in the conversation

Achilles:
Zeus would Odysseus be able to still make his wish, but take me instead to replace Ares?
Zeus:
You have proven yourself worthy in battle i will allow it, Odysseus tell what you wish.
Odysseus:
I only ask that you bring my wife back and restore my people.
Zeus:
Your wish will be granted, and as a gift I allow you to keep the sword of the gods and also this
armor that is indestructible to any mortal blade.
After that happened Zeus summoned Achilles amount the gods of Olympus as the new god of
war, and Odysseus was allowed to live in peace with his family and reunify his city. This is a
legend to be told about how the gods really do grant you wish for doing they're deeds. This is the
end of Odysseuss journey.
