2) For each rubric for Task 1 (Rubrics 1-5) write about the notable differences between the bold language
for Levels 2, 3, and 4. Remember Level 3 means you are ready to be a beginning teacher.

Level 2 rubrics note that candidates use vague and loosely tied objective
with only one language function or demand and with limited evidence.

This language shows that teaching is weak, vague, and shows little evidence.

Level 3 rubrics note that candidates build and support literary skills with
clear connections to the skills. Level 3 candidates focus to the class as
whole as justifies why learning tasks are appropriate by using students
background and prior knowledge.

This language shows that the teaching is supportive, clear, and appropriate.

Level 4 candidates uses instruction with meaningful context and

consistent connections to related skills. Candidates on this level also
supports address the needs of specific individuals or groups with
similar needs. Candidates also make connections to research and used
targeted language function and language demands.

This language shows that the teaching is meaningful, consistent, and backed
with targeted research.
