1 INTRODUCTION
iPASOLINK400 R3.7 have applied IEEE1588 (2008) Precision Time Protocol as Ordinary
clock and Boundary clock function. This function is realized with PTP-A panel in universal
slots that equipped high accuracy and stable oven controlled crystal oscillator.

2 GENERAL FEATURES
2.1 Principles
2.2 Boundary Clock Function
Boundary clock operates synchronization on master clock. And operate as master clock
for lower level network. This reduces the loads on the master clock.

2.5 Transparent clock function

(not supported by iPASOLINK400)

This function compensates delay time that generated in own equipment and rewrite time
stamp data. But this function operates without high-accuracy oscillator, therefore the time
stamp accuracy not be improved in this process.
