DuringthefoodunitIlearnedhowtocalculatecalories.Ilearnedthisbylearningtheformulato
calculatethecalories.Inthisunitwewereabletocalculatecaloriesfromdifferenttypesofnutrientslike
carbohydrates,fatandalsoprotein.Welearnedthatcaloriesistheenergyittakestoraisetemperature,alsowe
learnedthatadietarycalorieistheamountofenergywetakeinfromfoods,oritistheenergythatfoodhas.In
thislabwehadtoburntwodifferentfoods,onewasacheesepuffandanotherwasamarshmallow.Wealsohad
tobutthenumberswecameupwithinagraphtofindthedifference.
