    bigger.InASovietPerspectiveoftheUnitedStates,arussianauthorportraysAmericansas
    discriminatorsandjudgementalthroughastoryofayoung,poor,africanamericanmomcan
    barelyaffordshoesforherdaughterandistreatedunfairlythroughappearance.Inascenewhere
    theshoesdontfitthelittlegirlthemotherisforcedtobuytheshoes,theauthorwrites,And
    whowouldwanttotaketheseshoesthatwereputonyourblackfeet?(p.5).Theauthorimplied
    thatamericansareracistthroughdiscriminatingtowardsarace.Theauthor,attheendofthe
    story,speaksofanamericanmanthatwalksinandofferstopurchasetheshoes,hewritesI

    offendedRussiaferociouslywithnokindindications.ThismadetheU.S.seemcruelandatfault.
    TheU.S.andRussiaalmostseemedtobethreateningeachotherlettersandspeeches.In
    anexcerptfromtheTrumanDoctrineSpeech,whichwastheplantohelpcountriesindanger
    ofturningintocommunismandinthisspeechhesaid,...Greecemusthaveassistanceifitisto
    becomeaselfsupportingandselfrespectingdemocracy.(Doc.B).Thismighthavecreatedthe
    ideathatonlydemocraticcountriesareworthyenoughforeconomicandfinancialassistanceand
    wasaplantoeliminatecommunism.InanexcerptfromatelegramsentbytheSoviet
    AmbassadorNikolaiNovikovtoSovietleadership,hewrites,...,ifitcouldavoiddirect
    participationinthewar,itwouldenteritonlyatthelastminute,(Doc.C).Thismighthave

    instigatingafight.Russiawasthenportrayedatfaultbyinstigatingwar.

    communism.Thiswasthemainsparkofwar.Bothcountriesthoughtthatoneanotherwantedto

    ThismadetheU.S.seemasifworlddominancewaswhattheywerestrivingfortospreadthe

    ideathattheU.S.hasalustfordominanceandsupremacy.TheU.S.madethemselvesseemasif

    hungryandarrogant.ThismakesitalmostseemthatRussiahadarighttosuggesttheU.S.was
    strivingforworlddominancebutRussiamighthavealsoprovokedtheU.S.aswell.Thismakes
    bothRussiaandU.S.atfaultforprovokingeachotherundertheideaofdominance.
    Inthebeginningthemainconflictwastheideathattheyvaluedifferentthingssuchlike
    power,moneyordominancewhichmadetheoutbreakofwarbut,whatconcludedthewarwas
    thepowerofhavingthesameideaandvaluestoprotectthepeopleandmaketheworldabettera
    place.
