PACESETTING LEADER

Pacesetting leaders are those who


want to accomplish doing things
faster but also improving the
product.

Welch

GE Inc Executive

Jack Welch,General Electric in 1960, and


by 1981 Jack Welch was named the
company's eighth Chief Executive
Officer. While Jack was also known for
his informal approach that allowed him
to interact with employees at all levels
in his organization, he was also a
persistent and demanding
executive.From the period 1981 to 1985
he played a role in cutting
approximately 25% of the jobs from the
payroll at GE. That's nearly 100,000
employees.Jack Welch believed that
leaders should avoid micro-managing,
and spend their time inspiring others.
He was a firm believer in leading by
example, which is a characteristic of the
pacesetting leadership style. Jack
Welch retired from the company in
2001.

AUTHORITATIVE LEADER
Authoritative leaders are used when
dictating policies and procedures,
assigns different task to the team
helping. Usually comes up with new
visions and directs people to do the
work.

Kim Jong-Un
Ruler of North Korea

Kim Jong-Un became the leader


of korea in 2011, inheritied
from his father. He holds a very
strong authoritative postions
over the military base of North
Korea. This is including the
making of nuclear weapons
and other many firearm. He is
also trying to advocate the
rights for Korens to be able to
work in China.

AFFILIATIVE LEADER
An affiliative leader tries to promote
harmony with those who follow.
This leader builds teams and
creates that emotional connection
to make them feel untied, also while
building trust

Joe Torre

Joe Torre was the manager of one of the


most talented teams in all of baseball.
In this setting, perhaps one of the
greatest accomplishments of a manager
is simply holding the team together, and
building a sense of harmony among
teammates. This is a skill that affiliative
leaders master, and so has Joe Torre.Joe
was quick to recognize the contributions
of individual players, and express his
gratitude for the results in the Win / Loss

paramilitary organization
composed of vigelante war
veterans who banded together
to fight the growing communist
insurgency wich was taking

Democratic leaders are often found
in the human resource field because
they work to find out what the
people want. They work as a leader
for the people.

President. Obama inspired
millions of americans to get
involved in the population

to win millions more she helps
young ladies who cant afford
to get education world wide.
