Narrative:

Ventura County Sheriff ‘s deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 3600 block of Dufau
Road. Upon arrival they observed a large wedding party with several hundred guests in
attendance and an additional disturbance located next door to the wedding. While deputies were
investigating the additional disturbance next door to the wedding, they were told that a fight had
broken out at the wedding location. Deputies responded to the fight and found several hundred
partygoers leaving the area.

Deputies located three stabbing victims at the scene. Witnesses at the wedding provided deputies
with the suspect’s description. Deputies provided medical attention to the victims while
broadcasting the suspect’s description to the responding units. County Fire and Ambulance
arrived and transported all three victims to local area hospitals.

Deputies responding to the scene, located and detained the suspect, Francisco Santos, who was
fleeing the area in a dark colored S.U.V. Witnesses identified Santos as the suspect and he was
arrested for the above listed charges. Santos was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail
without incident.

All three victims were admitted to local area Hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
