Summary
As the appointed consultant team, our group has been able to come up
with a good solution for a better future recycling methods. In the beginning, we
approach by using the eco-friendly methods to handle the matter. We actually
came up with the idea to use renewable energy to sustain our resources such as
wind turbines, solar panel and many others. We plan to build our building using
recycled materials as well, it is not only eco-friendly but it is also cost effective.
Instead from building something from scratch, we will be using machinery that
can do all the task that we need. This way we can save cost with suitable
maintenance where it can serve its purpose for a long period of time without
throwing it away. Moreover, we can build the recycling centre with low cost
building construction system, affordable materials, monolithic concrete building
system so that it will greatly reduce the cost. We planned on purchasing 2 or
more machinery from the company Material Recycling Facilities (MRF) which
provides advanced machinery which can help in our mass production of
collection or even built one using Dave Hekkens Precious Plastic Recycling
blueprints because we only recycle 10% of waste plastic. There will also be a
pocket park within the compound of the recycling centre, so the flow of people
nearby will be encouraged to go for a go-green motive and human-nature
relationship, it also helps to deprive the bad reputation of a dark, dull and scary
feeling towards a warehouse.
