Description
Enterprises, universities, government agencies or other organizations from the Balkan area, active in the
food sector, are invited to the B2B networking event which is organized alongside with the 1st InterBalkan Forum in Thessaloniki, Greece on the 8th of July. The event, which will be held at the congress
center "Ioannis Vellidis" is organized by PRAXI Network, co-ordinator of Enterprise Europe Network
Hellas, in cooperation with TIF-HELEXPO, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Focus
The event aims to support cross-border business coloration in the Balkan area by:
providing a platform to promote Food and Beverage products
bringing together policy makers and enterprises to identify investment opportunities
promoting the exploitation of research results

The event addresses participants from Greece, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia,

A few words about the 1st Inter-Balkan Forum

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with TIF-HELEXPO, are planning to organise a two-day
Inter-Balkan conference on boosting cooperation between Balkan countries in the sectors of food and
beverages.
Given the stable dynamism of the food & beverage industry that leads to improved business expectations,
the Inter-Balkan Forum is calling upon distinguished individuals from the world of politics and the Balkan
business communities to participate in the debate and discussion, to recognise problems and to enhance
the unique products of this production sector that provide opportunities for investments.
At the Forum, emphasis will be placed on investment opportunities that can be aided by cross-border
partnerships and technological applications, on information regarding rural development programmes,
on state aid and on financing tools.
