Consecrate yourselves,
For tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you
Joshua 3:5
Be with me Lord as I start this journey of prayer with you. Most of all, Im doing
this because I want to become more like Jesus. Grant me spiritual revival!
Second, I want to be more open to the amazing things that You will do in my life.
Specifically, Im praying for these dreams/faith goals:

4. That You, O God, may raise up more leaders and servants for your
kingdom here on earth through One Love.

For maximum spiritual benefit, set aside ample time to be alone with the
Lord. Listen for His leading. The more time you spend with Him, the more
meaningful your fast will be.
Sample schedule:

Morning
- Begin your day in praise and worship.
- Read and meditate on God's Word, preferably on your knees.
- Invite the Holy Spirit to work in you to will and to do His good pleasure
according to Philippians 2:13.
- Invite God to use you. Ask Him to show you how to influence your world,
your family, your church, your community, your country, and beyond.
- Pray for His vision for your life and empowerment to do His will.

Noon
- Return to prayer and God's Word.
- Take a short prayer walk.
- Spend time in intercessory prayer for your community's and nation's leaders,
for the world's unreached millions, for your family or special needs and
prayer list given after every daily devotional.

Evening
- Get alone for an unhurried time of "seeking His face."
- If others are fasting with you, meet together for prayer.
- Avoid television or any other distraction that may dampen your spiritual
focus.
When possible, begin and end each day on your knees with your
spouse for a brief time of praise and thanksgiving to God. Longer
periods of time with our Lord in prayer and study of His Word are
often better spent alone.

Day 1: June 15, 2016 (Wednesday)

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will
heal their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

The first temple in Jerusalem had just been completed. King Solomon led a
massive weeklong celebration, to dedicate the temple. As per tradition, the walk of
shame often proceeds intense partying, so thats how we get to this verse. God,
then speaks to Solomon, the king of Israel, and promises Solomon that if the
people of God; humble themselves, pray and ask forgiveness, seek God continually
and repent, then God would hear those prayers and heal their land. Those are the
principles by which we Christians live.
Repentance is little more than returning our hearts to God. We too walk in shame,
we too deny our true self and today, God is saying rest my beloved and return to
me.
Let us see that we cannot do everything, and feel the liberation of that statement in
our bones. Let us give our hearts back to God as our minds wonder throughout
the day. And our Lord will give us the strength, to be open to resting in this season
and find healing in trusting His embrace. Amen.

confess and repent to God? Example: Disobedience, neglecting Gods instruction,
not prioritizing God.

and just to forgive us (1 John 1:9). Let God sit on the throne of our hearts and take
control of our lives.

o For congregations to be increasingly filled with anticipation for the
Spirit to reveal Himself and transform lives each time the family of
God meets.
o That God will increase the churches understanding of the need for
continual dependence on Him, and we will begin to consciously
practise His presence.
2. Next Generation
o Pray for their humility and submission to Christ and to the elderly.
o Pray especially for those between the ages of 4 and 14, who are most
receptive to the gospel, that they will have many opportunities to hear
it clearly explained. That we may lead them to respond by believing in
Christ, confessing Him as Lord and Saviour.
o That God will help them to believe and love His Word as absolute
truth, and to share their faith with boldness.
o Grant them the wisdom, courage and strength to resist temptations
and anything that can draw their hearts and lives away from the Lord,
and to commit to Gods plans for them completely.

Day 2: June 16, 2016 (Thursday)

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will
heal their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
From the dedication of Solomon's temple to your congregation singing hymns, the
spirit of worship and praise for our God is the same. When Solomon finished his
public prayer of dedication, fire came down from heaven and the glory of the
Lord filled the temple (v. 1). The same thing had happened at the dedication of
the tabernacle (Lev. 9:23-24), as well as on other occasions when He wanted His
power and presence to be unmistakable. Kneeling facedown was an expression of
awe and worship, underlined by their verbal covenant affirmation, He is good; his
love endures forever (v. 3).
God also appeared to Solomon again, officially answering his prayer with promises
and affirmations, as well as warnings. As long as Israel remained faithful and didn't
serve other gods, the temple would remain. But if they did sin and come under His
judgment, they could humbly repent and seek the Lord, knowing He would forgive
their sin and heal their land (v. 14).
The complete celebration took fifteen daysseven days of dedicating the temple
and altar, seven days for the Feast of Tabernacles, and one day for a national
assembly. At its conclusion, the people returned home joyful and glad in heart for
the good things the Lord had done for David and Solomon and for his people
Israel (v. 10).
Your home likely has less gold workmanship than Solomon's temple! Even so, you
can still dedicate it to the Lord. If you haven't done so already, we suggest that you
and your family pray through your house room-by-room, committing each person
and every activity in it to God's service and glory. In the kitchen, for example, you
could pray about topics such as godly hospitality. In the children's bedroom, you
could entrust their character and future choices to the One who loves them even
more than you do.

Day 3: June 17, 2016 (Friday)

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face,

If My people, who are called by My name. That identifies the people who are
being addressed.
Why is this important? It is because we are the ones who need to be revived.
We believers need to fall in humility on our face and cry out to the Lord to forgive
us for losing our first lovethe love of Christ.
God told Solomon that the Temple would be a place his people could come and
be assured that their prayers would be heard if they honestly and humbly would
seek God.
This promise is true still, to this very day, for while God's physical Temple isn't
standing, his spiritual one is found in the gathering of his people (cf. 1 Cor. 3:16;
Matt. 18:20).
What a great blessing and what a powerful gift for us today! We know that when
we gather with believers and humble ourselves before God and seek his presence
He will hear us.
Lets demonstrate our humility by confessing that we have strayed from Gods way
and have gone our own willful way by loose living and indifference to the things of
God.
The definition of revive is: To return to consciousness or life: become active or
flourishing again.

Ask God for a revival! Lets humble ourselves, pray, seek His face (do His
will), and turn from our wicked ways. And God will hear from heaven, will
forgive our sins and will heal our land!
