No work was submitted before the submission deadline. You will not be able to evaluate the work of
your peers or receive an evaluation.

Conceptualize, plan in advance and eat something different. Eat something different; that is, eat
something completely different, not something that has been just left out of your diet; suggestions: a
different culture, an entirely new creation, or a different manner or definition of eating. You should
understand that this is not an assignment solely about food, but about the process of eating, literally
and figuratively. Again, plan and implement your plan; report on the results.
A reminder, it's not just something you happen to eat that is different, but a specific activity for this
class. Again, note that there are limits on the exercise which include things that are dangerous or
illegal; if in doubt check the safety of eating before your exercise.

the assignment submission closes, evaluations are due by 23:59 -006 (11:59 PM CST)
Tuesday September 23rd. You have a 60 minute grace period to submit your assignment and
evaluations, after this time late work will not be accepted. You will critique the DSD of four of your classmates in addition to a self evaluation. Please respond
to the following five criteria in your written feedback with constructive, thoughtful comments
regarding: the unique nature of the DSD, the level of execution, and the creativity of the DSD as it
relates to the learner; include any feedback for improving future DSD assignments if possible.
Also include a numerical score for each criteria, on a scale of 0, 1, or 2. Total points possible: 10.
Refer to the sample evaluation and rubric if needed.
Evaluation/feedback on the above work
Note: this section can only be filled out during the evaluation phase.
1. Planning and Initiation: Was the DSD planned ahead of time? Was the DSD engaging for the
learner or was it executed via the internet, phone, etc?

2. Execution: Was the DSD completed in private, "semi-private" (i.e. an empty park at night) or in
public? Were others engaged or observing? Was the DSD a challenging task for the learner, or new,
unexpected behavior?

3. Photo/video record: Do photos or video fully describe the idea, setup, execution and reaction
involved in the DSD? Is it clear the DSD is in public and others are engaged? Or are some parts of
the DSD not conveyed with limited or non-descriptive images provided?

4. Written documentation: Does the post include about 200 words that describe the idea,
preparation, execution, and outcome? Is the writing clear and descriptive, with few spelling and
grammatical errors?

5. Creativity: Is the concept/idea addressed in the DSD unique, unusual or different for the learner?
Does it demonstrate an attempt to solve a problem, or come up with a new solution to a current
topic? Does the DSD address a concept in a challenging or surprising way?
