The actions on these wooden boxes should be amplified. A recommended way of amplification is by means of contact
microphones placed inside the box or on the side.

A superball mallet
The boxes have an approx. dimension of 100 x 50 cm of surface. The height is not really important. They must be somewhat
resonant and the material should be ostentatiously raw.
A contact microphone should be attached to the inside of the boxes in order to amplify all the sounds made in contact with

The disposition of each box varies from plaver to plaver and should allow for fast changes between the box and the instrument.
Prototypes of the boxes are provided by the composer but the players are free to build these themselves.

The megaphones
The megaphone is of medium range (~25W) and must have a detachable microphone as indicated in the following illustration,
