LEGAL ASPECT

SEC
Doing business in the Philippines, either as
single proprietorship, partnership or corporation,
calls for licenses or permits from government. An
investor or businessman needs to obtain a
business license in the locality where he will
establish his business, as well as register his
business with the Department of Trade and
Industry in case of sole proprietorship, or with
the Securities and Exchange Commission in the
case of partnerships and corporations.

Business permit
To obtain the business permit, the company
must file the following documents at the Business
Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO):
a. SEC registration;
b. Barangay clearance;
c. Locational clearance; and
d. FSIC.

Barangay Clearance
This clearance is obtained from the barangay
where the business is located and is required to
obtain the business permit from the city or
municipality. Barangay fees vary for each
barangay since they have the discretion to impose
their own fees and charges for as long as these
fees are reasonable and within the limits set by
the Local Government Code and city ordinances.

BIR
*Buy special books of account
*Apply for Certificate of Registration (COR) and
TIN at the Bureau of Internal
Revenue
(BIR)
*Pay the registration fee and documentary stamp
taxes (DST) at the AAB
*Obtain the authority to print receipts and
invoices from the BIR
*Have books of accounts and Printers Certificate
of Delivery (PCD) stamped by the
BIR

SSS

Upon submission of the required documents,


the SSS employer and employee numbers will be
released. The employees may attend an SSS
training seminar after registration. SSS prefers
that all members go through such training so
that each member is aware of their rights and
obligations.

Philhealth
Upon submission of the required documents,
the company shall get the receiving copy of all the
forms as proof of membership until PhilHealth
releases the employer and employee numbers
within three months.

TECHNICAL ASPECT

The proposed business, Fashion Shoe, will be


located at G/F Felina Bldg. Bagumbayan Quezon
City.

Viper Shoe
VIPER shoes will be our major supplier of the basic
shoes that we need because they offer good quality products
with a good price at the same time. Cost effectiveness will
be passed on to our business.

MARKETING ASPECT

-Objectives:

Tomarket trendy, elegant shoes, ranging from


sizes 4-10, thatwill cater tothe needs of
everyone.
To provide customer service, measured through
new andrepeat business.
To provide an outer covering primarily for
everybodys foot, who are mostly concerned for
having a stylish yet affordable one.

- Marketing Strategy

A not so sophisticated approach will be used
for the early stage of the business. We will mainly
rely on word of mouth, Facebook Page and
Instagram. For year 2018, we will amend our
compensation for our employees, a commissionbased policy. There will be an innovation of
product as we will introduce an LED for party
goers. A huge step will be taken at the fifth year,
as we are heading for us to branch out at Cubao,
Quezon City.

MANAGEMENT ASPECT

Fashion Shoe is General Partnership organized


by Kevin Paguntalan, Yani Del Rosario and
GraciaDarbin. Fashion Shoe will be located at
G/F Felina Bldg. Bagumbayan Quezon City.

The hours of operation will be Monday - Friday


10 a.m. 10 p.m., Saturday -Sunday 10 a.m. - 11
p.m.

When the company begins the start-up phase, the


proponents will hire two assistants to basically
be the one to guide the customers and an
expert/artist in shoe designing. The hire process
will be well-thought-out and will take serious
consideration to make sure that the employees
will be trustworthy, have great attitudes and can
provide excellent customer service. The partners
will continue to be in charge of Operations.

Strengths

The income of the proposed business is heavily
dependent upon its share on the footwear market.

The location of the proposed business is a market
which offers good demand potential for footwear
which is an item of mass consumption

Threats
Eastwood has been known as an avenue of
luxurious and expensive products and services, it
would be tough for us to inculcate on the market
perceptions that we are heading of introducing a
business with one of its main concern is the
affordability.
