Hello Im Gibson Vredeveld and I am going to tell something about my

cultural and artistical experiences.

1. own creations

First Im going to tell about my experiences making art. So my First

artistical experience was in Group 1 or 2 in primary school. We had to make
something we liked and I had decided to make a helicopter shown in the
picture. Furthermore we had `handenarbeid` on our school and that was that
we were making things like pictures or paintings. On secondary school we
continued art/related matters, during drawing and `handenarbeid`. During
handenarbeid we had to make a head /like thing as seen in the picture. Last
but not least I used to make cards together with my little brother, sister and
grandma, who still makes cards, and get beautiful results. We often sent
those cards to family and they love them.
2. vacation
Vacation
during vacation I see a lot of art like in Barcelona where we visited the

sagrada familia twice but I think that it will remain famous because of the
fact that it will always stay unfinished. In the pictures you can see that the
sagrada familia does not make progress as you see in the pictures:

I think that one of the reasons is that the sagrada familia remains so
important and so beloved by tourists, because I think that sagrada familia
will not get finished until eternity.

On vacation I also visited Rome where I saw the coliseum, Vatican, pantheon
and other buildings which took part in the roman culture. I find those
buildings fascinating if I know the background information. Because I would
not really find the coliseum that interesting but the fact that many gladiators
fought there made it interesting for me.

We also found street art in the streets of Rome. Not street art like graffiti
what I also find nice, but kind of graffiti and then way nicer in my opinion.

3. what is art?

I think that art is is something made or thought of with creative mind. It

could be anything as a pattern on a dish or a real painting. I do not really
mind but I do not look up on all these things as pieces of art.

4. my opinion on ckv as subject.

I think that it is important to have a subject involving culture and art because if you
have taken the N route one does not have geography or drawing so you do not get
confronted with these matters. And due to ckv as subject N route students still get
involved with for example paintings, and cultural matters. Furthermore it also helps
to increase your general knowledge and it is always handy if you know a bit about
culture and art.
