Dear Dr. Awadzi,

I am writing this letter in support of Jeromey Wardss professional portfolio in Health Services
Administration (HSA). Jeromey has enrolled in a number of my online courses in the HSA program
since beginning his upper-division coursework in Spring, 2016.
Online courses require a substantial amount of self-management and motivation. Jeromey
demonstrated extraordinary ability, completing assignments with outstanding effort and enthusiasm.
He was consistently among the top performers on all class assignments and exhibited a remarkable
work ethic in my courses. Jeromeys dedication, focus and hard work were especially evident in his
ability to successfully manage very large courseloads, all while maintaining an impressive GPA. His
assignment submissions were always submitted early and were demonstrative of his level of
preparation and professionalism.
In addition to excelling academically, Jeromey has been actively involved in activities that enrich him
and his community. He is a leading member of the Health Services Administration Student
Association (HSASA), where he currently serves on the organizations executive board. He has
participated in a number of professional development activities and has been honored for his
achievements by his professors in the HSA program here at Santa Fe College.
Over the years, Jeromey has gained invaluable experience in the workplace, serving in high-level
management for a large national food service organization. He demonstrates tremendous organization
and management skills, and he is a great asset in team settings. He values the professional
development and growth of those around him and cites these as some of his own greatest professional
successes. Jeromey is keenly cognizant of the need for quality management in healthcare, as he has
demonstrated in numerous case study assignments and projects where he has analyzed real-world
situations and problems to provide his recommendations and ideas. Jeromey has remarkable initiative
and creativity which will serve well to inform him as a future health services administrator.
Based on my experience as Jeromeys professor, I can attest to his ability to continue to excel and
achieve in the field of health services administration. I am confident that he will be an asset to any
healthcare organization fortunate enough to have him as a part of its team.
