This section provides information about the prerequisites, system requirements, and dependencies to install and run JDM Pro.

Prerequisites
In order to use JDM Pro to deliver data to recipients, a recipient must be a mobile device (Apple iOS, Android, or Windows) that runs a Jeppesen
or Boeing mobile app, such asFliteDeck Pro or Boeing OPT. Pilots must register their mobile device with JDM Pro after they are set up as
recipients.

JDM Pro Hardware Requirements


The hardware requirements for customers accessing JDM Pro are the minimum requirements to run the users chosen browser.
The hardware requirements for the production servers running JDM Pro are:
Main Application Server (denddmp01) and Main Application Failover Server (denddmp04)
VMware-based Red Hat Linux v5.x guest
2 vCPUs
8GB RAM
State Sync Server (denddmp02) and State Sync Failover Server (denddmp05)
VMware-based Red Hat Linux v5.x guest
2 vCPUs
8GB RAM
File Delivery Server (denddmp03) and FDS Failover Server (denddmp06)
VMware-based Red Hat Linux v5.x guest
2 vCPUs
8GB RAM
Apache Front End Servers - denpap05 and denpap06
VMware-based Red Hat Linux v5.x guest
2 vCPUs
8GB RAM

JDM Pro Software Requirements


End users access JDM Pro via the Internet using the following broswers:
Microsoft Internet Explorer versions8 and 9
Mozilla Firefox versions 10 and later
To run the JDM Pro server application, the hosted web server uses the following software:
Tomcat version 7.0.23
Java SE Development Kit 7 (JDK) version 1.6.0_30
Nuxeo Platform 5.5

CDL Requirements
CDL version 1.0 was tested on iOS version 5.0.1 and 5.1.
CDL was developed using Xcode 4.2.1.

System Dependencies
Nuxeo
Jeppesen's Cloud Delivery Manager (CDM). See CDM Support for more information about CDM.
Internet-facing Active Directory
External Oracle databases
eContent data system - the Network share where Nuxeo data is stored
pwm - Password self-service manager for LDAP directories.
JDM Pro also depends on the mobile applications and CDL.

Network Requirements
iPad Network Requirements
3G and standard Wi-Fi connections are supported.
Jeppesen expects that mobile devices will access the system from uncontrolled network environments, therefore we cannot specify
network requirements.
Server Network Requirements
Users must have an Internet connection to access the JDM Pro application.
The recommended minimum internet connection speed is 1.5 Mbps.
Accessibility to ports 80 or port 443 for the CDL.
