GENERAL INFORMATION
Steel Elements are meant to support framing of architectural elements as
mentioned below.
These steel elements are meant to withstad impact of wind load at an effective
wind speed = 43.2 m/s, having 3s gust effect as per design code
Steel elements are having Min. Fy = 275 N/mm2
Steel connectors between steel elements are Min. of Grade 8.8 bolts
& welds with Fy = 220 N/mm2
Steel Connectors with concrete is Anchor bolts from MKT
Grade of concrete is Min. of C35 (Fck = 35 N/mm2)
Concrete is considered to be Cracked type.
Loadings are accounted as actual and forces and stresses are considered as
per load combinations from design code
Software used for design analysis are STAAD.Pro & MKT
Other connection checks are as per design code values

DEAD LOAD
Self weight of all the steel elements as per density of 7850 kg/m3 is considered
as dead load component
5% increase in self weight is accounted for connectors and connection plates.
