Vision of an Educator

1. Students will believe that they have opportunities to be successful.

The teacher will provide the students with the tools and
encouragement to succeed. The teacher will have to recognize effort,
highlight improvement, and assign special tasks that the student can
succeed in to build confidence. The student will show they have these
opportunities by being interested in their future and dreaming about
what they want to do with their lives.
2. Students will feel accountable for their actions. The teacher will lead
by example and be accountable to the students and faculty in the
same respect. This will be evident by the students by following
classroom expectations and taking responsibility for their own actions.
3. Students will follow directions. The teacher will provide directions
that are clear and concise. Directions will also be differentiated based
on student needs. This will be evident by students being on task and
asking questions that pertain to the lesson.
4. Students will feel that they are treated fairly. The teacher will not
show favoritism for any reason and will provide positive feedback and
encouragement. This will be evident by the students support, respect
and encouragement for each other.
5. Students will manifest the ability to adjust to changing situations.
The teacher will work with students and provide them with coping
mechanisms to adjust to everything life throws their way. This will be
evident by the students being flexible and compromising with each
other.
