SHOOT-TO-KILL

THE COMEBACK OF THE DEATH PENALTY

IN THE PHILIPPINES

fter the election that was held in the

Philippines on May 9th 2016, President-Elect
Rodrigo Duterte had the countrys verdict to be the
16th President of the Republic of the Philippines.
Rodrigo Duterte was a former Davao City Mayor for
more than the past two decades, which resulted in
Davao City becoming one of the safest cities in the
world. Duterte is identified as having a very tough
stance on fighting crime, militancy and corruption.
Filipino citizens often see Duterte as the 'Punisher'.
In Davao, Duterte has been accused of running
vigilant death squads who usually shoot criminals,
drug pushers and people who are involved in
organized crimes, One shot in the head will do
it, Rodrigo Duterte said about his order of shoot-tokill. If you resist, show violent resistance, my
order to police (will be) to shoot to kill. You
heard that? Shoot to kill for every organized
crime. Duterte added.

DUTERTE S NEW ADMINISTRATION

During his term of being the Davao City Mayor and as the next president
of the Republic of the Philippines, Duterte declared a liquor-ban, in which
there will be no liquor to be sold or allowed to buy starting at 2 am to
restrict people from drinking in public places, which results in conflicts and
crimes in the street. There are also curfews for minors, when there will
be no children allowed wandering alone in the street starting 10 pm to 4
am. If a minor refused to obey the curfew and got picked up by the police
on the street, the minors parents will get arrested and will be thrown into
jail for abandonment and the child will be escorted by the police to the
nearest police station. Most Filipinos believed that Dutertes new orders
and administration will bring discipline to all Filipino citizens. PresidentElect Rodrigo Duterte also vows to bring back death penalty and end
crime within six months after his inauguration as the 16th President of the
Philippines. What I will do is urge congress to restore death penalty
by hanging, especially if you use drugs. Rodrigo Duterte said.

One shot in the head

will do it.
DEATH PENALTY

President-Elect Rodrigo Duterte will urge the Congress to restore death

penalty back to the Philippine Constitution. Death Penalty will put terror to
criminals, drug lords, and pushers, and will teach them to obey and
fear the law. If there is no fear in the law or attached to the law...it's
useless. Duterte stated. It also believed that it will decrease the crime rate
in the Philippines. Back then, when Death Penalty was still in the Philippines
Constitution during Ferdinand Marcos regime.

Crime rates during Marcos Era decreased very

significantly after the death penalty and curfew
was implemented during his regime, and today it
was expected that during Dutertes new
administration, crime rates will decrease as it
was elevating very rapidly in the Philippines
after the death penalty had been abolished after
Marcos was deposed last 1986 and had a new
drafted 1987 Philippine Constitution but allowed
the Congress to reinstate it hereafter for
heinous crimes during Fidel Ramos
presidency which were yet again abolished in
2006 during Gloria Arroyos term.

I am the only card left

for the Filipinos to deal
with the situation. I hold
it Its my ace.

The Death Penalty is expected to be returned to the Constitution of the Philippines within a year. The
Philippines will have a new administration under Dutertes iron fist that will bring change to the
Philippines' corrupt government system, a man with an iron fist that will clean up and abolish crime, and a man
of action that will decrease hunger and poverty in the country. I am the only card left for the Filipinos to deal
with the situation. I hold it Its my ace. Duterte believed that he is the only one than can clean up Philippines
because of his persona. What made him think that he's the only one? Simply because Rodrigo Duterte is the
only person in the country to date who will say it, Stop itor Ill kill you. It was Dutertes ultimatum to all
corrupt politicians and criminals in the Philippines, and the reason why the death penalty will be expected to be
implemented immediately after Rodrigo Dutertes inauguration as the 16th President of the Republic of the
Philippines on June 30, 2016.

As a Filipino, I strongly believe that Rodrigo Duterte will

bring change, peace and immense justice to my
homeland, Philippines.
