am a student at Indian Institute of Technology Madras majoring in Metallurgical

and Materials Engineering, and I am extremely interested in pursuing an internship
in your prestigious firm.

The life of a consultant, which includes new challenges everyday, working hand in
hand with a team to deliver efficient business solutions is something which excites
me. I am applying for this internship, specifically at BCG, because of the intensive
training program that every intern receives and the excellent work culture here. I
feel I am a good fit for the firm because my strong analytical, leadership and
teamwork skills.

Over the summer I interned at Mahindra and Mahindra where the environment was
fast-paced and intense. thus I was constantly analyzing data to determine the root
causes of a given problem. I would then identify and evaluate all possible
alternatives before suggesting solutions. This had to be done in a quick, concise
manner and clearly conveyed. During my internship I was often praised for thinking
about problems innovatively. These skills would definitely help me in consulting.
