Section 3: My Core Skills for Work

Highlight the ones you will concentrate on this year. Identify the specific aspects you want to
develop and the strategies you will use, e.g. Plan and organise organise my study time more
effectively use the planner in my phone/diary to schedule my study time and tasks according
to due dates.

Cluster
Navigate
the world
of work

Plan and organise

Make decisions
Identify and solve
problems

Create and innovate

Specific aspects I want to develop and

strategies
Improve my subject marks by planning
and using my time effectively to plan
ahead, use calendars, Reminders on
Iphones, ask teachers and tutors for the
extra help. Ask other mentors, family
and friends to help you tackle a problem
in the subject when you need the most.
Use your friends who already have this
part of their daily routine and ask for
help in order to do the job perfectly and
carefully
Use your networks to find a job that
would be suitable to you and expected
pay grade. Explore the hidden job
markets to find a job thats not
advertised outside.
Make friends in work to get along and
not be alone and always get shouted at
yourself for not trying.
Recognise other people for their hardwork that they put in to work in the
workplace and put their names in the
worker of the week in the ballot.
Schedule my plan in order to get work
done:
Use the calendar on the computer to put
reminder of what needs to be done or
use your IPhone reminder app to set
reminders before due dates happen
Make smart decisions in order to get the
work done and be careful whilst doing it.
Identifying problems with any
assignments can make you ask your
teachers for some assistance in order to
get the assignments completed before
due dates.
Be up-to date with what is happening

around your workplace and maybe join a

forum to help and assist in making
innovative solutions to the problems
asked by the customers or workplace
mates around you.
Work in a digital world

In the future for the career of a computer

specialist, I already have learnt how to
use the current technological

Section 5: Affirmations
I believe this plan is realistic and suitable for me because:
I am lazy in doing work prior to due dates, so it would definitely help
me a lot.
Parent suggestions and encouragement for my plan:
Work harder to achieve 100% next time in a test or assignment, learn
more if you havent already done so.

Teacher suggestions and encouragement for my plan:

Make a detailed work planner to set out the time periods for each
subject and work harder and smartly
