I know a lot of work was put into this as with every product your guys produce.

I spoke with Chief Self and he agreed that some points need to be added to the AAR.

1) EPT and EPCWID both prefer the fence placement north of the levee but that options requires the
canal improvement project be undertaken.

2) The floating fence design has not yet been cleared by the engineering teams for use on this levee or
for the 8 mile length of the segment regardless of north or southside of the levee road placement.

3) Explanation of why if floating fence is used, why EPT doesn't want it on the southside of the levee
road as EPCWID would prefer

4) The AAR mentions the option of placing the fence on the northside of the canal road as an option
but never really mentions it again. I believe the AAR needs EPT's preference ranking of this option as
well as why the sector feels the canal road option is 2nd in preference as you did with the support for
the floating fence design

I know these additions are in issue papers but if we wrap this up in one document anyone that reads
this in preparation for next weeks meetings will be all the more knowledgable of EPT's reasoning and
thorough work done on this project.

If you get a chance, I would like to talk with you about this today because I have a need for a final
version of this AAR this weekend. Thanks in advance to all of you.
